Hi! We're Amy and Eric (and baby Jude) - your friendly neighborhood bakers.

You know how sometimes the best things start from total chaos? That's our story. My husband Eric and I got married in 2020, right in the middle of COVID. And like everyone else, we were stuck at home, dreaming up ideas for a side hustle.

So there I was, stress-baking my way through the pandemic like everyone else, when Eric finally said, Honey, you've got to get these treats out of the house; And that's when it clicked. I'd always been disappointed by cinnamon rolls – you know when you get one and it's just... dry? Or bland? Such a letdown.

We thought, what if we could help people create that perfect cinnamon roll moment at home? Fresh-baked, warm, gooey – the kind of treat that makes you want to gather around the kitchen table.

So we thought, what better way to launch this business than the parking lot of our nephews basketball game. Dough Lady started by literally hitting post on Instagram. No business plan, no fancy strategy. Just two people who ended up baking until 2 AM after our day jobs, delivering rolls all over the valley.

Things moved fast after that. We turned our townhouse dining room into a mini bakery, hired our first employee, and I eventually quit my job to do this full-time. Thanks to the incredible support from the community we have moved from our townhome, to a commercial kitcken and now to a store front in Millcreek.

We've added over 50 flavors and the team of two quickly grew to employ some of the most incredible people you will ever meet.

Who knew that a pandemic wedding and a need to bake would lead to all this? Sometimes the best recipes in life are the ones you don't plan. We're so happy you're here and feel so grateful for all the support!
